Dates and Venue

The conference will start on Monday, July 8th and ends on Friday, July 12th.

The scientific program will include keynote and invited lectures, symposia and workshops.

The conference will be hosted by the Skolkovo Institute of Science and technology.

The Skolkovo Institute of Science and Technology (Skoltech) is a private graduate research university in Skolkovo, Moscow district, Russia.

Established in 2011 in collaboration with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Skoltech introduces future global leaders to the latest innovations and advanced scientific knowledge. Skoltech also helps being new technological advances to the market to address the challenges that Russian and global industries are facing. The Institute integrates the best Russian traditions of scientific research with twenty-first century entrepreneurship and innovation through international educational models.

Skoltech’s primary language is English, which creates comfortable environment for international students and faculty. Skoltech as well is a part of the Skolkovo Innovation Center.

Being a relatively small and therefore flexible institution, Skoltech can rapidly adopt even more interdisciplinary approaches and quickly move into new emerging areas. The Institute’s mission is to promote innovation and give way to breakthrough technologies through attracting excellent faculty and students.

The unique building if New campus was designed by world renowned Swiss architects Herzog and de-Meuron. It is located on a 12-hectare area with total Campus area of over 130 K square meters. Spacious auditoriums, top notch laboratories with advanced equipment, learning commons and a student center are able to accommodate all our students and young scientists. One of the main goals is to create an environment for interdisciplinary research in a comfortable and user friendly environment. Skoltech is located in the city of Moscow, capital of Russia, just a 30 min drive from downtown with easy public transportation access.

In case you want to come to Skoltech, you should indicate to the operator while ordering the taxi that you go to «Skolkovo», so they authorize the car.

Please, mind that the waiting time without additional charges is 10 minutes if you go from Moscow or Moscow region and 30 minutes if you want to be met at the airport (it is possible to track the actual landing time of your flight).

Public trasportation

Head out of Moscow along Kutuzovsky Prospoekt, which then becomes Mozhaiskoye Shosse. Turn onto the Moscow Ring Road (MKAD) in the southbound direction.
Take exit 53 to Skolkovskoye Shosse, which is about 1.5km from the turnoff.
Important: Ignore signs to ‘Skolkovo Innovation Center’ at this point and head along Skolkovskoye Shosse, through a tunnel and then through the following vilages: Zarechie, Skolkovo, and Nemchinovka. At a small crossroads, take a right turn that has a ‘Skolkovo Innovation Center’ signpost. From then on, follow to the parking signs.

    7-8 minutes from Moscow Ring Road
  • Minskoye shosse to «Polyot»
    30-40 minutes from Moscow Ring Road

  • Type and color of vehicle;
  • Vehicle number;
  • Extra information.
