PLM22

PLM22 International Conference will be organized by University Grenoble Alpes and Grenoble-INP, at Grenoble, France on, July 10th-13th 2022. The conference starts on July 11th and the Industrial day will be held on wednesday, July 13th.  The leading organizer was Prof. Frédéric Noël. After the pandemic COVID19 period, PLM22 was fully organized in physical presence even if most sessions were accessible through podcasts.

The Conference was attended by 120 researchers from 18 nations in three Special Sessions (Model-Based Systems Engineering for Human-Systems Integration, Advanced Visualization and Human Interaction for PLM and Transformative Technologies in Production Systems) and an overall set of 18 scientific sessions plus one industrial session.  In addition, the PLM2022 had the following Academics Keynotes, Industrial Keynotes and round tables:

Academics Keynotes

  • Guy André Boy, PhD., Professor at CentraleSupélec and ESTIA
  • Gülgün Alpan, Prof., & Pierre David, Ph.D, Professors at Grenoble Institute of Technology
  • Gisela Lanza, Prof. Dr.-Ing., Director of the wbk Institute of Production Science at KIT

Industrial Keynotes

In the pre-conference programme, a PhD workshop was virtually held, dedicated to young researchers. Also, on each half-day of the conference, we had at least one Keynote, either academic or industrial, followed by intense discussions with re-searchers and industry participants.
All submitted papers were reviewed by at least two reviewers. In total, 94 full papers were submitted, of which 67 were accepted to be presented at the conference and grouped in 19 thematic sections includin the industrial session:

  1. Model-Based Systems Engineering
  2. Sustainable Manufacturing
  3. Design Methods
  4. Geometric Modelling
  5. Artificial Intelligence
  6. Lean Manufacturing
  7. Maturity Models
